A full manicure was carried out including Paraffin wax. Client suffer from arthritis so she refused for hand massage.

Paraffin wax treatment is used to Nourish & Moisturise the skin especially for clients whose skin is cracked and in poor condition. This treatment will relieve the client from pain of stiff Joints and improve mobility.

It will also improve flaking nail condition and skin colour.

Hand was coated in wax 3 times, wrapped in cling film and towels. Treatment time 10 minutes. After 10 minutes wax was removed and disposed of. I continued with the cuticle work. No soaking was necessary as part of the cuticle work. Nails were buffed before applying the French polish to get smooth surface of nail plates.

Nails were filed and reduced in length and round shape was applied to the nails. The nails were even in length and there was evidence of a free edge. There was no evidence of peeling and flaking present. The colour was good with a nice pink appearance.

There were no hangnails present and the cuticles were normal, not overgrown or adhering to the nail plate.

The hands were dry and dehydrated. The temperature was good indicated a healthy circulation. There was no evidence of any pigmentation i.e., liver spots or sun damage.
