When it comes to me and people surrounding me, we would partake in donating things in general, because to be honest, organizing such life-changing events like charity fairs could to be too much on our plates and we would be scared of the fact that it could go poorly. Another point to consider, personally, I think getting money from sponsors would be more useful for charity organzations than getting help from volunteers, simply because money these days can provide people with things like clothes, food and medical help. And, while money is unfortunately a material thing, it could give a starting ground for new charities for different causes.

Putting all things into account, for an average person donating something that they don’t need like clothes, or buying food, or simply donating money could be a great action to participate in helping those who don’t have those things.
