Electronic Monitoring In The Workplace

Electronic monitoring in the workplace.

First of all, the electronic monitoring often improves employee’s time management. Poor time management appears to be the biggest reason why employees are late to hand in their assignments. By analyzing data from employees’ computers employers have the ability to control their worker’s schedule. For example, if an employee spends most of their time socializing on Facebook or writing unnecessary work-related e-mails, the employer can restrict social networking websites or even create a policy that employees can only send up to 3 or so e-mails an hour which leaves workers with more time to complete their tasks, therefore, making employees more productive.
