Unpaid community service should be a compulsory part of school programmes Is it a useful experience or waste of time?

School is known as a place that prepares us for the real world. In order to do so, volunteering should be leading large part of the whole process. However, some people say they have bunch of other different activities and unpaid community service is a waste of time. From my point of view community service is needful and can give advantages in our school programs. It can help us connect what we learn in school to the real world, show the strength and necessity of united people. We just should understand the importance, manage our time wisely and find time for that despite our other activities.
