The owners of Traupis estate Jurgis Mikalavičius and Petras Mikalavičius built a wooden church. The land of Divanava, Kantumiškis and Kuklėnai was donated to her. Bishop Albert Radcliffe in 1515 March 31 it was consecrated by St. Nicholas's title and established a parish.
