„The Green Book“ Film Review

„The Green Book“ film review.
The plot shows the conflicts between two cultures and the problem of racism in 1960s America. There are two main characters in the film. The first is Tony Vallelonga, also known as Tony Lip, an Italian American who needs a new job because his old one was closed for renovation. The second character is Don Shirley, a black pianist who needs a driver for his eight week concert tour. The plot begins with Tony being hired as a driver and bodyguard for Don. The movie has three different plot lines. The first plot line begins when they leave for their first tours. Don and Tony knew nothing about each other, they were different people, Tony was talkative, had no manners and Don was quiet and understood life differently than Tony. In the first story we could see that Tony was a little ashamed because he worked to a black man. Tony did not stand up for Don when people did not accept him and did not want Don to concert for white people because he was a black man. People felt that black people should be in jail and should not be doing concerts.
