The effects of an IT company’s innovations’ content on customer acceptance

Faculty of mathematics and informatics 2020-03-The effects of an IT company’s innovations’ content on customer acceptance. Background. Research questions. Data Collection. Methods of analysis.

Nowadays, due to increasing competition among businesses, innovations have become one of the main ways to attract customers and benefit financially. This research would investigate what kinds of innovations are the most appealing to the customers. A similar study has been carried out by Marina Candi, Monia Melia and Maria Colurcio who imply that innovation including social intent (firm’s improvements concentrated on benefiting financially while being helpful to society) is positively related to customer acceptance. Although, the research did not investigate how the content of innovation might change the tested relationships. The study I propose would examine customers’ preference of content of innovations with social intent concentrating on ecological (ex. “Formosa’s” innovation with tea cups – you can bring their reusable cup from the last drink and not to pay for a new one) and educational (ex. “Baltic Amadeus” started organizing free trainings for students they are paid for) novelties of an IT company. The results would improve the quality of innovations in international and Lithuanian businesses.
