Well, I think when you are young it's much easier to be fit. You have a lot of free time so you just i need to use it right. Go to the gym, don't skip Pe lessons, make a diet for yourself, you don't need to always eat perfect but just pick out fast food and etc if you know that your metabolism is slow, if you can't afford a gym membership you can always train at home or outside for example take walk, go for a jog, and etc.
