Monologue About Newspapers

Newspapers monologue.

The topic of my speech is newspapers. Back in the day the newspapers played a super important role in our lives as it was the only way to know what is happening in the world. Now our habits have changed and most of the time we rather watch the news on TV or go to a news website instead of buying a newspaper. The newspaper market is not living its best days and to prove that I now will turn to the given chart.

The chart gives us information about a number of printed newspapers in Lithuania in four year span. It it a pretty recent data. In 2016 there is 216 printed newspapers. Next year it is 207. In 2018 the more drastic change of a number is seen as it drops to 188 and then after year drops again by four which leaves us with 184 printed newspapers in our country. The number drops continously and based on that i can predict that it will continoue to fall.
