//Task 2. Read a passage How to Disconnect the 4 Prong Cord and do the following tasks:

A) Write down what tools you will need to disconnect the 4 prong cord

B) Write down the sentences what you will use the selected tools in disconnecting the 4 prong cord

With the appliance unplugged, use a SCREWDRIVER to remove the electrical connection cover plate to gain access to the electrical connections. After removing the retaining screw, simply slide the slotted side of the plate from the slot on the dryer.

In order to protect the 4 prong electric dryer cord and hold it securely in place, a strain relief cord connector is used. This serves two purposes by keeping the cord from being cut on the metal of the machine while also protecting the electrical connections from being pulled loose if the cord is pulled on. To remove the clamp, squeeze the two halves together with PLIERS and remove the two screws. Remove the two halves of the clamps and the cord is ready to be removed.

Disconnect the white wire from the center connection. The white wire provides the neutral connection on a four wire configuration.

Remove the four prong cord from the connection box.

3 Where is a live wire placed in a plug? LIVE WIRE IS ON THE RIGHT NEXT TO FUSE.

4 What is a place of a cable grip in a plug? CABLE GRIP IN THE MIDDLE AT THE BOTTOM.

5 Where is an outer insulation in a plug? OUTER INSULATION IS UNDER CABLE GRIP.

6 What is a location of a fuse in a plug? ON THE RIGHT CORNER.

2 Here are circular slots for live and neutral. And the earth slot's got a flat base with one side rounded over to form a semi circle.

/Task 9. Refer to the previous task and fill in the gaps:
