IELTS Writing Exercises: Comparison Of Information

IELTS writing exercises: comparison of information.
Summarise the information of surveys in 2000, 2005 and 2010 by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
There have been a total of 3 surveys carried out over the span of 15 years to find out the students’ views on different aspects of the university. As the technology improved over the years, all the students ranked electronic resources used higher and higher every time accordingly. The most shocking was that the rating of the range of modules offered has decreased over time from 32 to 27 percent of students’ votes. Although the rating of buildings and teaching facilities has remained constant at 77%, the teaching quality has been ranked a strong 65% at 2000 and after having a slight downturn at 2005 with 63% of all votes finished with 69% at 2010. And lastly the print resources have been rated almost equally over the years with the year 2000 being ranked the lowest getting 87% of all students’ votes and the year 2005 ranked the highest with 89% overall.
Research shows that compared to previous years, nowadays people are more likely to live longer than they used to probably due to increase in the quality of living conditions. As a result, some people claim that the age at which people retire should be raised considerably. I disagree with this statement at several points.
I think that the increase in the length of the average human life doesn’t mean that people get mature or develop less quickly. The person in their sixties is still going to be a person in their sixties no matter how long they live for. It seems to me that a person reaches their peak work performance at the ages 20 to 30 and it tapers off from there. As a person reaches their sixties or seventies they are nowhere as productive as they were prior.
