Of course, Britons are happy to use their own language everywhere they go and it is hard to learn more but it isn‘t the grave disadvantage when you can slightly adapt and speak with foreigners. Here in Lithuania there are also numerous good books and movies. Many bright people have created our national culture equivalent with other big countries with old traditions. But anyway, when the world goes the modern way, we have to let in modern life and languages.

Plus speaking in a few languages improves young people‘s comunication worldwide. More and more British universities attract young Lithuanians to study things which Lithuania can‘t offer. Moreover all employers fancy students from European universities or just comunicative persons who are able to speak 2 or 3 languages.
