Essay On Laws And Rules In Our Society

Essay on Laws and Rules in our Society.

Nowadays, hardly a day goes by without reports on television about cruel, brutal, vicious, ferocious and inhuman accidents and incidents not only in Lithuania but also in other countries, and there are many people who constantly break the rules. I very often think about the importance of rules in our society. So I chose this topic, because I wanted to get deeper in it.

Law is like a guideline, without it we wouldn’t be able to know what is accepted in our society and what is not. Rules tell us how to behave or do or not do things in a given situation

Provides us with stability and with order in our society, because now people cannot do what they want.

Humans are greedy by nature. people would be doing anything they want  People would steal from others if there was no law, and they wouldn’t care about a morality. Imagine, you could be able to steal one million dollars from a bank, and you won’t be punished for that. Would you think about moral things? I guess that wouldn’t stop you.

Most legal rules are enforced to keep the individuals of this society to feel safe and we know that rules protect all of the citizens in our community. And we feel safer with rules and laws, because at least we know that people who would dare touch us, or steal our property, would be punished.

Conclusion: All in all, the world is a much better place with the rules and laws. It is obvious that rules are an extremely important factor in every civilization. Without it, there would be no order, and without order people cannot live civil lives.
