Essay About Lifetime Goals

Essay about lifetime goals: It takes more than intelligence to achieve lifetime goals essay.
A research conducted by the University of Scranton revealed, that 92% of people that set New Year’s goals never actually achieve them. The trait of not hitting goals isn’t only present in people’s New Year’s resolutions, it actually resonates with the majority of impactful goals we set. Most people have a lifetime goal, yet only a miniscule amount of those dreams and goals are actually accomplished. And it isn’t like the people who toss the towel when obstacles pop up along the way are all unintelligent, so it takes some brain racking to find out what sets apart someone who carries out a goal and someone who gives up on it.
Let’s come back to the New Year’s resolution example. This failure rate is pretty sickening and disheartening when you think about it. But that's because most people who set goals on New Year's don't set them the right way. You can't expect to achieve your goals when you go about it all wrong - Setting a goal can’t simply be done arbitrarily in the mind on any specific date, you need to focus on three key aspects: first of them - you need to get highly specific about what you intend to achieve. You can't just say you want to be rich. It doesn't work that way. If you have money goals, they need to involve a specific amount of money.
