In 1365y. in Descriptions of the Crusade War Roads mentioned the castle of Dubičiai (it‘s also called Queen Bonn Castle or just the Dubičiai mound). Later Vytautas the Great made it his place to relax and hunt. In the beginning of XIV century – in the end of XV century built the first church. In 1655-1661y. during occupation Russians devastated the village. In 1863y. uprising, near Dubičiai, on the 4th of May, there was a battle between L. Narbutas, his rebel group and Tsarist army. In 1920y. the village was occupied by the Second Republic of Poland.
