Difficulties Of Choosing A Major

When trying to prove our thesis we gathered various information on the matter. Lot of authors agree that it is very difficult to choose a proper major in life. We have read some different articles on the topic and now we can express both our opinion and some of people that are involved in this topic.

Overall We would like to say that it doesn’t matter what other people say to you that if you were a bad student in high school you will definitely fail when seeking higher education. If you feel motivated of yourself and if you believe that you really want to achieve something in life. So, it’s up to you.

We have created a small questioner for our subject and gathered nearly 30 correspondents who answered the questions.

This pie chart shows what is the gender of a correspondent of this survey. There were only 2 options either Male or Female. There were some that didn’t want to specify their gender for ethical reasons.

Both genders applied in the survey. Talking about numbers Male correspondents very more active (about 66%) and female correspondents are about 29%.

Majority of people were students already studying (most of them were my fellow group mates) .There were some unemployed people ( about 12..5%) all of them are thinking about seeking a higher education and are having difficulties of choosing a major. About 8% of people are currently working in various companies and don’t even bother studying.

A high criteria when people’s choosing a major is knowing where to study. This pie chart show us what studies people’s chosen or currently in. The majority of people would like to study Technological studies, about 58% and only a 12.5% fancy social studies.
