Dialogue about languages.

I totally agree with you that English is the global communicative language. However, there are many more foreign languages that are gradually increasing in its popularity that are Spanish, French and Italian. To my mind, these languages help people not only to communicate with the locals of that country but also provide opportunity to get familiar with country’s culture, traditions and history. Don’t you think?

Absolutely, no doubts about that. Learning new languages broadens our horizons, extends our knowledge about other cultures and stretches our bonds with other countries. What is your view?

A – Actually you stole words out of my mouth, so personally I have nothing to add. Except that foreign languages provide job prospects because being multilingual you can work in international company, be more flexible and earn good money as well, which is also a highly significant to have a good quality life.

B – You made your point. In a nutshell, we both agreed that the most popular foreign languages in Lithuania are English, Spanish Italian and French.
