It is hard to imagine, that an event can be organized without a little bit of help of creativity. Mostly, every event that people attend, demands creativity, because without it the event itself can be not interesting or it just might not happen. The more creativity the organizers use, the more interesting the event can be. Also, the whole organizing process can involve creativity, by using many different creative thinking models and systems, such as, ‘6 Thinking Hats’, Ideas Color Marking. Using many different models for creative thinking and organizing, can help choose the ideas and if they are good and suitable for the event, also which ideas can be improved and which ones are bad for the event and should be refused.
Social media plays a huge part in consumers’ lives, so It is important to think of creative ways of engaging guests and audiences online to extend the life of the events. An event may only run for two hours, so the question is how to use social media to extend the life of the event and create “walkability” for two weeks, two months or two years?
While studying the theory of Creativity marketing in Events, a theory was implemented into practice. It made us not only understand theory deeper, but to realize, how to work with it, and widen our creative thinking. We have learned many different ways of logical creative thinking and applying it to event idea building.
