In my bachelor thesis I am designing a six-story office building which includes an underground parking. The building will be constructed in Vilnius. My work consists of two parts:
In the first part of my theses I designed the buildings architectural drawings, I determined its thermal resistance, I calculated self-weight of coatings, wind loads, snow loads. I made loading combinations with SCIA software. My findings are presented below.
The construction type is of a new building which is assigned to be in a non-living building group- administrational purpose subgroup. The buildings height is 19.8 meters and is considered to belong to special structure category.
The buildings length is 54 m and the width is 36 meters. It’s height is 19.8 meters and consists of six floors along with a unheated basement. The spacings between columns in all directions is 6 meters and the floor height 3.3 meters. There are two staircases and 1 elevator shaft. The total surface area of is floor is 1620 .
