Blended learning – when students use traditional learning aids, such as books, together with more modern technology such as websites and apps.

Differentiation – giving different learning tasks to different individual students.

Syllabus – a list of items to be taught in a certain sequence.

Teaching unplugged – a name given to a style of teaching which does not use a lot of materials (e.g. coursebooks), technology, etc.

Webinar – an online seminar; people can watch and take part even when they are physically in different places.
