Going through teenage years can be the baffling problem for both teenagers and their parents. The teenage year is a time when teens start to develop their personalities as more matures and they try to figure out what they want from their future. In my opinion, letting teenagers make their own decisions is very important.

To begin with, parents should allow teenagers to make their own decisions, but they can advise teenagers, which teenagers will consider but might not do as their parents advised. Parents should allow teenagers to make their decisions because it helps teenagers to discover and figure out who and what they are.

What is more, teenagers must make important decisions related to their future. Because of this, adolescences will get to know themselves better, become more independent and more confident. Parents’ decision made on their child future may negatively affect child’s future and he can become dependent on his parents, he would not know how to make his own decisions.
