Tsunami - A Long Wave
Tsunami - a long wave, the seas and oceans caused by underwater earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, massive soil or ice mass įkrisdamos from the shore into the water. The term is derived from the Japanese words for port and wave . It is believed that the term coined by sailors returning from the open sea unruffled when they find waves destroyed the port. In the bottom of the earthquakes sometimes generated fractures that cause instant water weight, volume and pressure changes.
