The old city of the mountain, where the Chateau Castle is situated ancient Nice used to be located. From the east side the old city area was enclosed by the hill, and from the west side the Paillon River divides it from the modern city. It has beautiful beaches in France. It has the Mediterranean sea. It also has big temperature at summer time.

The Monument Mort is a monument to France's war dead.  The war memorial monument can be found at the base of Chateau Castle Hill of across from the Port of Nice. It is the most important monument of France.
