To understand and interpret a child's emotions, difficult because a baby can't tell you what he feels like: anxiety or admiration, joy or fatigue.

The child is proud HIMSELF learned how to hold a spoon for eating, proud HIMSELF learned how to dress up sweater, proud HIMSELF learned how to put on shoes.

According To E-Erikson, parents who are impatient and constantly press ahead with a child , when he is trying to do something himself , forms the child self doubt and shame feeling.
