Edward Scott Geller (born February 7, 1942) is a behavioral psychologist, and currently a professor of psychology at Virginia Tech and Director of the Center for Applied Behavior Systems. He is founder of the idea of "Actively Caring". As shown by his GoogleScholar, he is a significant figure in his field, having over 20 papers each with over 100 citations.
Scott Geller begins the TED talk with the phrase “beyond boundaries” which he further explains can also signify rules and restrictions that our parents placed on us when we were little. He mention how this is a way in which people can hold each other accountable. Therefore, we have to go beyond these restrictions and accomplish what we want to do in our life.
