Riding A Bicycle Essay

Riding a bicycle.

The subject of my essay is riding a bicycle. Firstly, I will interpret the data of survey and tell you, which group I belong. Secondly, I will describe my first bicycle and my first impressions learning to ride. Finally, I will present, what are the benefits of cycling and how could cycling help to solve traffic and pollution problems in big cities.

In the beginning of my talk about riding a bicycle, I would like to present the results of the survey. The respondent answers to the question "Do you ride a bike?" are not distributed equally. 7 % of the respondents answer this question they can’t ride a bike. But 41% of the respondents don’t ride a bike because there’s no infrastructure in their living place or they haven’t a bike. Though this number is not exact I think, because I saw many people riding a bicycle. Survey also shows that 35% of the respondents sometimes ride a bicycle and 17% of the respondents say they constantly ride a bicycle. It looks, that people want to live healthy and save the earth. I belong to the group of respondents, who say “Yes, sometimes ride a bike”.

Speaking about riding a bicycle, I would describe my first bicycle and my first impression learning to ride. When I learned ride a bike I was four or five years old. I remember that person, who taught me to ride a bike was my dad. I felt happy when I could ride a bike myself. My first bike was with small wheels and a yellow frame. I liked this bike, because it was very old. My first bicycle was owned by my godmother. It’s a pity now I haven’t it and I don’t remember when and why it has disappeared.
