Restaurant Complaint Letter
Semi-formal letter about complaining dinner.
I wish to express my disappointment with the food and service at your popular and well-known restaurant. On 10 December 2020, my family and I had dinner at your restaurant to mark my parents' anniversary. We expected to have a wonderful time at your seafood restaurant, but we did not, sadly.
First of all, your waiters rudely and inconsiderately treated us. For around half an hour, we had to wait until we could order some food. Whilst getting the orders, the waiter talked to us rudely. He simply scolded my mum, who wanted to have a sugar-free cup of tea. He said that such a drink was not served at the restaurant.
Secondly, the poorly cooked food was also unsatisfactory. We were shocked to find out that our ordered fish fingers were still raw and inedible. The shrimp soup tasted a bit sour and the fried squid was overcooked. We made a complaint about the food to your waiters and cooks but no further action was taken.
