Persuasive Speech: Analysis Of Racial Stereotyping

Persuasive Speech: Analysis of Racial Stereotyping.

Imagine being paranoid on a daily basis knowing that no matter where you go or what you do you are being watched and judged upon. Imagine going to a supermarket or a shopping centre and have others watch every move you take and have them thinking that you are about to steal something or even worse - have them presume you carry a bomb. Imagine being derided and excluded at school since you are different. Nobody wants to be left out, but the question is, why do you judge? Why do we continue this bizarre trend of our fierce world? Why do we carry so much hate? Why do we discriminate?

Common stereotypes cannot be separated from general opinion or consideration about a specific group of people. One of the main purposes of stereotyping is to separate certain racial profiles from each other, granting and favoring certain groups power and diminishing others.

No matter where you go or look, you can be certain that there will be someone different. We tend to look for differences instead of acknowledging similarities of others.
