The chart shows the number of people who subscribe to paid music websites in the United States. According to the chart the number has been growing steadily in recent years with similar increases between 11 and 16 million. Although even if the increase of 41 million seems high, comparing this to the United States population the numbers are quite low. Granted it is to be expected since not everyone can afford to pay for music sites but seeing a stable grow in numbers shows just how much these websites are getting integrated into our culture despite that. However even if we consider that in my opinion the numbers should be higher seeing the waves that the music industry makes, which shows how people aren’t willing to invest even if they can.
