Every day students come to school to learn, study the required subjects, develop mental skills. By interacting with their peers and the school staff, they are also developing their social skills. Which of the two is more important for students to develop: cooperation or competition? I believe that cooperation skills are used more frequently in our daily routines, hence more important.

Firstly, a lot of jobs require to work well in a team. For example, employers of team-based workplaces tend to hire candidates with teamwork experience and good communicational skills. As a result, from waiters to office workers, all of them can cooperate and ensure that their workplace runs smoothly and efficiently.

Secondly, cooperation helps in everyday life. For instance, while doing housework, it is smart to cooperate with family members or roommates to finish up quickly. Therefore, by cooperating with people around you, it is possible to finish your work and get to the leisure part of your day faster.
