Nudging and Boosting: Steering or Empowering Good Decisions.
Nowadays a lot of governments decisions for country people wellness could be based on Behaviors economics ideas. The main key for behaviors economics that people tend to act the same way as others, which is showing tendency that some of the decisions should be as a pattern for similar group of people. Mostly we are thinking and doing things irrationally and even automatically. So, how people can be led with softly push toward best possibility for their heath, eating decisions, saving plans, or any other part the daily life?
In this way comes nudging and boosting. Nudging is based on the idea into knowledge of human behavior. Nudge is always in the center of internalities, liberty and behavioral, moreover boosting – is alternative for nudging. Both of the tools are based on positive heuristics. Chosen themes are interest not only for economics topic, it also could help in every person’s life, to make better and safer decisions by knowing human reactions, patterns and mostly behaviors in each different situation and by which categorization – nodding or bosting- used.
Why nudge is not the same as boosting, while it is representative like alternative for each other? The is difference when and with whom nudging, and boosting could be applied in particular situation. Decisions making is hard these days, since we have a lot of options from which to choose, but we still do not feel happy what we chosen. We have a lot of distractions, that forwards us to another decision approval:
For example, it could be more dangerous to live next door to family whom win a million euros in lottery, because in the same time our consumption for money would increase and there you will be failure. Likely we would like to show off, that we have the possibilities spend money as our neighbors. Example show slight nudge for us to spend more money for things that we do not need, and we are making decisions irrationally, based on our minds.
