Mental And Physical Consequences Of Society Determined Beauty Standards For Females

Mental and physical consequences of society determined beauty standards for females.
Presentation of a problem: Nowadays, there is a standard on what it means to be beautiful and attractive as a woman. And it is advertised everywhere: starting from magazine covers, tv advertisements, ending with social media. Those women are usually shown as impossibly thin, tall, beautiful and for a lack of a better word, perfect. These are the women that the average female looks to as the epitome of what is attractive. The most girls and women do not look like this, but they feel like they need to in order to be beautiful. But truly, the majority of those models’ photos are photoshopped, their eyes are enlarged, necks elongated, shoulders pushed down.
