Many people choose to live in a flat rather than at the house these days.

If people were given a choice to live in a house or a flat, many would choose a house. However, I personally think that life in a flat is more attractive.

First of all, flats are often located in or near the city center and therefore it is very convenient. They are usually close to shops or entertainment facilities, so there is always something to do. By the way, it is easier to access the public transport or get around on feet. Also, living in a flat is usually less expensive than living in a house. For example, the rent of a flat is often lower or its maintenance is cheaper. Bills for heating or electricity are not high. Moreover, living in the same building with others means that if you need help, you can easily knock on the neighbor’s door.
