1.Goals are statements with general intentions. To increase the quality of the products and be more customer focused to improve customer service and also after sales services and build long lasting relationship to achieve a long term partnership minimize the operational use of minimize the operational use of measurable and have a defined completion date. For ex; to increase profits by 30% within the next year.

Organizational objectives are short-term and medium-term goals that an organization seeks to accomplish. Policies are guidance or a principle of action adopted or proposed by an organization for staff helping what needed to be done to carry out the strategy. An organization's objectives will play a large part in developing organizational policies and determining the allocation of organizational resources. Goal is a description of a destination, and an objective is a measure of the progress that is needed to get to the destination. Objectives of Fraser foods are to develop a future plan to expand the Fraser food’s business over the next 5 years, join with new clients to reduce the dependability on Perkins.

When the managers have a proper goal for ex; changing customer taste and preference more towards healthier meals, they can take management decisions based on that, they can adopt strategies to fulfil these decisions. Success of Fraser foods lies on management’s focus on quality and the ability to manage the relationship with Perkins. They supply about 85% of their output to Perkins, and they demand very high standard products so the production process has to be managed to ensure that the standards are maintained.

2.Open systems theory refers simply to the concept that organizations are strongly influenced by their environment. The environment consists of other organizations that exert various forces of an economic, political, or social nature.

Fraser foods case study we can identify that there is hierarchical system in the organization in order to clarify and rectify issues. And they have three directors such as Managing, finance, operational directors. And also they have four senior managers for HR, production, product development and purchasing. Each of them have a team under them and administrative support.
