Keeping fit is one of the most important things for everyone who wants to be healthy. It strengthens your body, reduces stress and lowers the risk of many diseases. You can even meet new people and improve your teamwork skills. It also clears your mind and helps you to relax. There are many different ways of keeping fit, for example, walking, playing team sports, doing exercises so anyone can find their favourite one. Keeping fit is necessary for all people, regardless of age. However, I believe that young people exercise more than older people. As we become older, we have less time to do so. Young people also have more opportunities to do frequent exercise. At school, we have physical education lessons twice a week.
Several teens even go to the sports school or gym. Many do workouts at home or go for runs, long walks. I'm not the one who does sport often, but I like doing light exercises once a week or so. In the summertime, I go skateboarding with my friends or swimming. I enjoy playing volleyball, badminton or basketball during P.E. lessons.
