International Day of Democracy.

The theme of my talk is about the international day of democracy, which take a huge part in our lives. We live in a democratic society and we are a part of this process. We, like community, are in controlling our political, economic, social and cultural systems and we are managing everything that is in our hands. But do we face democracy in our daily life?

And from my personal experience, I can say yes. One of the ways I take a part in creating a democratic atmosphere is by volunteering in youth organisations. In here we are talking about problems, which we as teenagers see every day and searching for some solutions for these problems. Everyone, including me, have been expressing our opinions with these questions and listening to our friends and partners thoughts. Another way where I see democracy is by talking in class. We are discussing, voting and forming opinions, either the talk is about the gift for the teacher or some suggestions for school.
