Another significant issue is the drop in the amount of forests on Earth. They not only produce oxygen vital to our existence, they also recycle carbon dioxide, which is one of the causes of the aforementioned global warming. Moreover, forests house a wide variety of wild animals, which are slowly going extinct due to homelessness. Therefore, deforestation harms the environment a considerable amount.

In conclusion, global warming and deforestation are probably the most severe environmental issues. Because of them, our planet is slowly dying. If nothing is done to stop it, soon it might be too late.
