How to leverage sustainable creativity and trust in a multicultural tem? .


With the challenges of today’s globalization, companies are increasingly being forced to work with people from different cultures, as well with clients, or employees. If it’s not usual for the company, it needs to open its mind and change its habits to manage a multicultural relation.

Each multicultural approach must follow a logic based on three points: Listen, respect and open mind. Each managerial approach, even the good ones, not following this three fundamental points, will be done by a fail, or as a source of conflicts.

Catch advantages from different cultures, rather than trying to inculcate a cultural norm standardized. A good intercultural manager is the one who will try to understand each culture, understand really! And after, be able to understand and manage misunderstandings arising from misinterpretation in the Multicultural team, and avoid the conflicts. But I think even the team members needs to understand the other cultures forming the Multicultural team.

The collective intelligence engendered by the good cohesion of a team will be far superior to the simple sum of the work carried out unilaterally by each collaborator.
