This paper is the financial analysis of Christian Dior company. In this paper will be defined luxury goods industry (its life cycle, reaction to business cycle) to which the selected company belongs to. What is more, the company will be described in terms of its current activities, goods provided, as well as the geographical segments and their profitability. Furthermore, the top executive managers (the CEO and CFO) of Dior company and their experience will be characterized. The second part of this paper will analyze the relevant news of the past year that affected the company’s financial position. Moving on, the financial analysis will be provided - ratios of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity of the past 3 years will be analyzed and compared to the industry's average. Lastly, the description of share performance will be provided and analyzed, as well as the recommendations regarding the question of investing in Christian Dior company will be given.
