To start with, the extract has been taken from the book “The curious incident of a dog in the night-time” released in 2003 by Mark Haddon.

The novel portrays a young boy who has Asperger’s syndrome and tries to investigate on the incident on a dogs murder.

The extract portrayed the scene where the policemen questioned Christopher after it was found that the dog in the neighbours garden was killed with a fork. Since Christopher didn’t like the policemen touching him, he ended up hitting the policemen.
