Evolution of banking.

There are couple meanings of word ‘’banking’’ that we can find on the internet. Banking is introduced as the business of operating a bank, the activity of managing the money in your bank accounts, the business conducted, or services offered by a bank, an embankment or artificial bank. In my opinion, there are no good or wrong definition, because as history shows banking includes all those things.

So, today I will present you how banking changed and evolved thru decades and centuries.

20th century of course was one of the hardest and most interesting to analyse is banking history. Great Depression in America caused debt deflation, stock market crash, bank failures and as a result there was huge unemployment level, America’s economic level shrank about 50%, farming in some states were destroyed, prices of agriculture products fell a lot.
