Essay: The Discovery Of Agriculture Was The First Big Step Towards A Civilized Life

The discovery of agriculture was the first big step towards a civilized life.
In modern life people have forgotten the value of agriculture, how it changed the life of mankind in past 12,000 years. The reason for this is that agriculture is hard. In my opinion, agriculture was the first step to civilized life, because it has improved the life of humans, animals and helped science.
It is certainly true that agriculture has improved the life of humankind. This is because, before agriculture was discovered, people were gathering their food supply in the area they live. As a result they had to move a lot. When people understood how to grow crops they have started to live in settle communities.
In contrast, discovery of agriculture helped science.
Furthermore, if people had not discovered agriculture today there would not be any animals left. There is no doubt that without farming people might have destroyed the whole ecosystem. This is because, the main food for early humans to survive was meat. The ability to grow animals made them stop hunting.
