Secondly, competition teaches us to take risks. Once we realize that competition is not a terrifying thing, we can take risks. We can develop our confidence to do things that are hard or uncomfortable. For example, competition can push us in risk, that you have to throw ball from 3 points line on the last seconds and that three earned points can bring match winning.

On the other hand, if you compete with friend, you can broke your friendship with him. For example, if you are competing in the same football cup and he is playing in other team, and if you win, he can be really angry about you and with that winning you can loose your friend.

In my opinion, competition in sports is good but you should avoid competing with your friends, it is better to be in the same team. I enjoy sports that you can bond through with your teammates rather that create conflicts.
