Nowadays, there are loads of motivators to help students seek success in different spheres of life. While for some competition is strictly believed in as an ideal way to succeed, others claim that different motivators must be considered too. In my judgement, competition is indeed a core factor for scholars in reaching their goals.

Firstly, young people might intensely look for validation while achieving success. It becomes impossible for students to keep working hard unless they view their goal as a victory. As it has been scientifically proven that us as a species need competition to simply survive, we seek recognition and greater results than our competitors. For example, daily tasks at school help school leavers find motivation as they work for the best grade. Generally, having a need for acceptance, students tend to reach a desired aim and success.
