Nowadays, a lot of animals live in zoos and also almost everyone has been in a zoo. The majority of people think that zoos are very cruel, because wild animals belong in the wild. But is it always like that? Maybe sometimes zoos are not as bad as people think?

First of all, there are some advantages of the zoos. Firstly, zoos sometimes give shelters for abandoned animals. For instance, Kaunas zoo took an abandoned donkey from a person who did not take proper care of it. Secondly, zoos protect endangered species. For example, zoos are keeping them safe against hunters and other people with malicious intent. All in all, zoos are sometimes useful and keep animals safe.
