Appropriate communication may aid business. It depends on adequately applied communication skills to different communication scenarios. For example, one of the team members always late on to get to work. That causes that the team leader is angry with the employee because the rest part of the team has to do additional work to cover the college absence. To eliminate this problem, the team leader will invite a team member to a private interview and try to resolve his late to work issue in a polite tone. The team leader explains all the problems involved in his late to work and discusses potential issues that can be caused. Explaining everything in a respectful tone can lead to a consensus on both sides. A second example if one team member living in a foreign country and traveling to another country because of a conference, it cost to much time and money. In that case, it would make sense for the team leader to hold video conferences where all team members could discuss just the words but also look at the visual information provided. The team leader will also send relevant documents to each group member via e-mail.
