In 1957 Petras Grigaičius digging trenches discovered a giant stone. Bigger part od the stone was dep under ground only apex was sticking out on the surface that’s why they decided to dig it all. Then, the researchers found that the stone is even bigger than the then largest Lithuanian stone Puntukas.

It is said that in the past instead of the stone was a pagan temple and priestess. It broke his vows of chastity and had provoked the Thunder god. Then it hit lightning in the temple with a stone. Temple collapsed and killed the priestess and the stone remained standing.
