Automotive Test: Fuels, Belts, Engines

Mature technology due to extensive research in the past. Diversification in raw materials possible. No long transportation distances. Biofuel technology is relatively safe. The Six Types of Seat Belts and How They Work (abridged). Lap Belts. Shoulder Belts. Three-Point Belts. Five-Point Harness. The Future of Seat Belts.
THIS TEST CONSISTS OF THREE TASKS. YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THE THREE TASKS (marked in red)
(WARNING. ALL BLATANT COPYPASTE ANSWERS WILL BE GIVEN ZERO POINTS. YOU MUST WRITE IN YOUR OWN WORDS)
A differential is a system that is made to transmit engine’s torque to the wheels. It takes the power which the engine creates and distributes it allowing the wheels to move at different speeds. There are three types of different differentials : Open Differential, Limited-Slip Differential and Torque-Vectoring Differential. The most basic one is the Open Differential, it is made from two shafts. On the ends of both shafts there are gears which create the power distribution the inner shaft has a large gear and the outer shaft’s gear is small. The open Differential mostly benefits of it’s basic design and it is really cheap to produce. However it also has some disadvantages the main one is that these types of differentials split the torque evenly between both wheels and the amount of power becomes limited by the wheel which has the lowest amount of grip. The other two differential types are more flexible and they can transmit different amounts of power through each wheel.
TASK 2. Reading. ANSWER THE TWO QUESTIONS. You need to write at least 200 words for the two answers taken together.
Outline the main advantages of using biofuels from your point of view.
Give your opinion how important these aspects are for Lithuania or any other country You want to discuss.
YOU MAY ADD YOUR OWN OPINION IN ADDITION TO THE MATERIAL PRESENTED IN THE TEXT
