It was the final semester exam week for Ryan and his peers. As soon as the last day was over, Ryan and two of his great buddies were extremely relieved. The gruelling days of stressful mugging and the burning of the midnight oil finally came to an end. Before that day, Ryan and his buddies had already decided to head for a movie to unwind themselves. So, that weekend, which was a Saturday, they met at a café/ fast food outlet where they had their brunch. The moment they finished partaking their scrumptious food, Ryan dialled for a Grab taxi. Minutes later, the Grab screeched to a halt right in front of the café.

Jostling to get in to secure a comfortable seat space, they settled down snugly. They chatted ebulliently anticipating how thrilling the movie would be. As the three of them of them exchanged repartees mischievously, their eyes sparkled with excitement and their faces beamed with happiness. The Grab ride became bumpier as the driver alternated between accelerating and braking. Out of the blue, the driver jammed on his brakes. The jolted Ryan and his buddies. Ryan surged forward almost knocking his head against the front seat. His satchel tumbled off his seat and his water bottle rolled under the driver’s seat. As Ryan bent down and groped for his water bottle. Instead, his fingers clutched a small bulky bag of sorts.
