Why are people interested or not interested in politics?

On the contrary, some people believe everyone should be involved in politics solely because they play a large role in everyone’s lives. Since the government impacts various choices one has, that person should at least understand how everything works. For example, when prices in the stores go up, an apolitical person would not understand what impacted the higher prices, while the politically active person would know the factors that effected the rise.

In conclusion, some are interested in politics because they believe it makes up a huge part of one’s life, while others think learning it is a waste of time and many political sources cannot be trusted. Personally, I think many people are not interested in politics solely because of the reasons listed above.
